In this example, I dump a feeble, but lovely 145 kB sized image of a similar Yamaha beast ... The pic I posted was 200kB give or take. Just checking, but I'm using the "New Attachment" button to attach the pic. Correct? RE: posting pictures with imgur in 2018 - emptysea - 06-04-2021 So...yes you can attach a small (in size or resolution) photo directly, but can you attach 15 photos or any photo over 250k directly? I didn't think that was allowed. RE: posting pictures with imgur in 2018 - GoldOxide_imp - 06-04-2021 MTC is correct. A single image file cannot exceed 250 kBs in size when uploaded directly to the CB1100 database. In the example above (woman riding SR400), I just look at the file (145 kB size) and say that will work and be done with it. I drove it to work and we had the first rain of the year after 5½ months started about half way through my shift. When I went to leave the oils on the surface made it worse that driving on ice. I just tapped the gas and the back end came around on me and I was just along for the ride. It kissed a light pole (the indents in the bumper show that it wasn't a round pole) at around 30 mph. It hit directly on the right frame horn and mangled everything really good. I got a good sized bump on the left side of my head from hitting the roofline above the side window. That was a fun headache. This is also why I got back on a motorcycle. Parking here can be difficult and 3 cars was a bit troublesome. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's probably better for the forum if we don't gunk it up 200kB at a time, but I'm just wondering why my 72 dpi image that was set for 8x10 at 197 kb looks so much punier than yours... RE: posting pictures with imgur in 2018 - GoldOxide_imp - 06-04-2021 Ah crap, so sad Randy. ![]() (112 kBs size) RE: posting pictures with imgur in 2018 - Stichill_imp - 06-04-2021 (06-01-2021, 09:39 PM)Randy B_imp Wrote:(06-01-2021, 04:58 AM)EmptySea_imp Wrote: Anyone else having trouble uploading HEIC format pictures to imgur? Looks like you have to convert HEIC photos to JPG in order to add them. It's adding at least two additional steps to the upload process which I find annoying. However, maybe I'm missing something very obvious -- hope so. Nice. 1970? My buddy had a '68. This pic from 1984.

RE: posting pictures with imgur in 2018 - Stichill_imp - 06-05-2021 The '68 came to a strange "end" as well. One Sunday morning, cops knocked on the door of the apartment where my 442 buddy was visiting another buddy of mine (who happened to own a mint unrestored 28,000-mile '72 H/O 442) in the Tidewater area of Virginia. The cops had been looking for a white '68 442 ragtop that was reported stolen. Yep, it was my buddy's car. They confiscated it for return to the original owner. I honestly don't remember what happened to my friend in terms of getting the money back from the seller, but somehow I seem to recall that he did. It's a little shocking to see the rust inside the hood. No matter how well the car was cared for, in time it would still be consumed by oxidation. |
