How much taller is the HI seat versus stock? I am 6'1" and I believe I have some room before I am no longer flat footed when stopped. Unless my tires are flat and my shocks are missing...

It's 28mm taller than the stock US seat. I'm 6' and can still place both feet flat on the ground when wearing boots.

Just got a reply from Takashi. K&H will not omit the brass plate, so I asked him to see if they have a stainless one, which will go with the bikes color scheme better.
Won't be a deal breaker for me, I just like the plain "stock" look better.

Ok all, putting my faith in your opinions. Everyone here was spot on with the Staintune, so I pulled the trigger on a K&H HI Double Sheet B Tuck 2 (S-1102BT2) in Standard black leather, tandem strap with
black stitching today. Love the red stitch and pipe, but want to keep my 70's facade going.....

Has anyone purchased the Chic Designs Seat form webbike japan? Will it fit the US model? If so, is it a comfortable seat? I am also looking at the new seat by Corbin. Any thoughts? Thanks.
