Nice shots alain, even a partial license plate would be useful in piecing the puzzle together, this guy may have done more of these maneuvers so it may be worth following it up with law enforcement and make the roads safer as a result.

Thanks for your kind words Gents.

I am still shaken and will not be riding this long weekend.

The video is too long (3minutes), I will try edit and to put it on Utube and leave the link here at the next opportunity to watch the whole 10 seconds of he**.

That F..... needs a a couple months in jail, loss of license for a year after that, couple with some substantial fines.

No plea bargain, if it were up to me- no trial!

Yesterday while riding in the back countryside roads, one white BMW within a convoy try to overtake the vehicles ahead of him, crosses the double yellow lines and came into my lane straight at me.
(I was doing around 110 kph and I am assuming that he must be doing the same under full acceleration). I flashed him with rapid successions of high beam flashes and luckily he quickly steer into the soft curb lane to my right side.
All this was recorded, just too bad his license plate was illegible as he was at an angle to my camera lens.

Oh boy!! my pants must have been wet at the time, this as$%^& driver did not even stop.

The video is too big to show the incident, however, I did some screen capture to explain the situation.

To be safe, maybe I should get myself a mazda MX5 sports car in the future.

I would report it to the police. With the vehicle model, partial plate reading, date and time... I'm sure they can find him if they want.

I don't know in Canada. If it was in England, there is a recording camera everywhere!

So the cam takes video looking back as well?

RE: Dashcam for motorcycle - Lord Popgun - 08-03-2020

It does. It comes with 2 cameras and a dual recorder. No, I haven't installed mine yet so no dancing video PB.

RE: Dashcam for motorcycle - Gone in 60 - 08-03-2020

Wow! And I thought L.A. drivers were bad! That is crazy. I've always had the idea for a camera setup in the back of my head. When I had my unfortunate, but luckily minor left-turn incident earlier this year and the offending driver contested liability, I really started looking at them again, as it would have been a big help.

Your experience is exactly why I'd want a camera. Good on you for keeping your head on straight!
