RE: New Honda 125 - misterprofessionality - 06-09-2018 full disclosure, seeing the super cub has got my wife interested in learning how to ride. RE: New Honda 125 - pdedse - 06-09-2018 Awhile back "Nathan the Postman" completed a wonderful "postie" ride (ct105?) on his trusty steed he called "Dot" from Sydney to London--an amazing trip with next to nothing preparation. His writeup, stories and photos used to be on advrider.com, but I think all the links to the photos went belly-up. But here's a summary from youtube: DOT. Sydney to London on a Wing and a Prayer I think he ended up writing a book on it as well. Some called him wreckless for lack of prep, but he showed that it's more attitude than huge adv bike that will take you places. And if you want to look at what other Honda 125s look like, you can check out my [url=http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/a-honda-cgl125-in-costa-rica.854572/]CGL125 and its life in Costa Rica (04-26-2018, 05:55 AM)Cormanus_imp Wrote: Adventures on posties, [url=http://traveloutbackaustralia.com/5-awesome-outback-postie-bike-adventures.html/]http://traveloutbackaustralia.com/5-awesome-outback-postie-bike-adventures.html/ RE: New Honda 125 - flynrider - 06-09-2018 I would do that! Sydney, South Dakota to London, Kentucky. Piece of cake!
RE: New Honda 125 - HondaJon_imp - 06-09-2018 Glad to see Honda is bringing back the bikes we grew up on. There was a huge void in the market for a very long time in regards to small, obtainable, street legal machines. Does anyone know if the 125 Monkey will be/is made in Japan? (Not that it will change my mind in getting one). Already got an e-mail into Mr. T about parts availability. I'm sure it will have to be uncorked a bit. RE: New Honda 125 - Calcb_imp - 06-09-2018 I can’t wait RE: New Honda 125 - Bigskyorbust_imp - 06-16-2018 I would look like a circus bear on that , but at the same time I am dreaming of just how much air I could possibly get on one of those . Love the look and it would just be pure unadulterated fun . X2 I am way to big for that also . riding my CB160 around town i noticed cars do not respect or see small bikes that much so it was scary. the Big shinny CB1100 with bright head light is a world of difference . |
