Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk RE: Stain-"Less" Headers - rjk555_imp - 06-26-2014 This forum's members probably bought out the remaining stock of OptiGlanz. Currently unavailable on amazon.com and some of the other US websites referenced in this and a related thread. Must be good stuff. RE: Stain-"Less" Headers - shdwghst457_imp - 06-26-2014 Maybe the label on the Optiglanz bottle (which is 100% in German, for those who haven't seen it) says "This is a bottle of vinegar, American pig. Thanks for the money!" RE: Stain-"Less" Headers - MFGUSA_imp - 06-26-2014 (06-26-2014, 09:20 AM)Elipten_imp Wrote: Have it in my house. You could have saved me some money if you told me sooner. So its all your fault Ridem for not telling Elipten about the Vinegar!

You could have saved me some money if you told me sooner. So its all your fault Ridem for not telling Elipten about the Vinegar! I have used barkeepers friend for years on ss sinks. I have read the whole label and it says nothing about neutralizing with vinegar. I don't see how one acid can be used to "neutralize" another acid. The main component of vinegar is acetic acid. You could have saved me some money if you told me sooner. You need a base solution to neutralize an acid, such as a weak ammonia solution (a "base") as I posted earlier. Simple ammonia cleaner or even Windex might work. |
