A high pitched but fairly powerful vibration, tingling, begins at around 3500 rpm, and worsens through 5500 until it settles down. Felt in the bars and pegs, Particularly bad in the seat and tank, and it really doesn't agree with my gentleman's region. I would have to agree... And I think this would apply to most all motorcycles. RE: What's the buzz... - LongRanger_imp - 12-13-2015 Next time you feel the buzz, see if it changes with variations in road surface. One of my bikes has become unusually sensitive to road conditions. I'm hoping a change in tire brands will mitigate this. RE: What's the buzz... - redbirds_imp - 12-14-2015 Has anyone on the forum done a balance shaft adjustment on their CB. When I was on the ST1300 forum, some had complained of excessive buzz and cured the problem by adjusting the balance shaft. RE: What's the buzz... - rbike_imp - 12-15-2015 Didn't Honda induce a vibration and NOISE when they made their big twin to "compete" with HD? Maybe they carried the vibration over into the CB design and forgot - LOL. RE: What's the buzz... - AzBob_imp - 12-16-2015 Mine, at least, will buzz pretty badly at 5k RPM, through the bars and pegs. Luckily 75mph is 4k RPM in 5th. I forget where it subsides, but it does go away. I think 6k. |
