(And what size?)I've got a Xena XX14 alarmed disk lock and love it. The big one (14) is way oversize for our bike, but it's nice because it is double locking (the pin actually engages on the top and bottom end and prevents it from being pryed apart) vs most others. The alarm portion is so-so, but the lock itself is a tank. RE: Anti-theft systems? - Cormanus - 12-31-2015 Thanks wiredgeorge, you've made me feel better about keeping my silver side covers. RE: Anti-theft systems? - olekzap_imp - 01-05-2016 I live in an apartment with a secure garage. I know that doesn't necessarily mean it's completely secured though, that's why I also use two Kryptonite chains, one locking my rear wheel to a concrete pillar and the other locking my front wheel to the rear wheel of my girlfriend's NC700. On top of that each one has a disc lock and steering lock as well as a cover, mine being cable locked to the CB. So far I haven't had any issues, but I do have total replacement insurance because if someone wants it and has 60 seconds with an angle grinder they will get it. |
