Does this explain why we can’t the ‘18 RS here in the states?

Too many NOS standards still sitting in a warehouse somewhere?

Congrats by the way, that is great news for you!

Hopefully her insurance company pays you enough to replace your CB with a new one, with no out of pocket from you. It's possible they'll value your bike as a used vehicle and not give you full replacement value. In that case, you may need to take her to small claims court for the difference. Don't accept anything less. I'll be curious to hear how this is ultimately settled. Good luck.

Honda Yamaha of Memphis is expecting another 2014 in soon!

I talked to Greg yesterday and he said it will be there in a week or two. Just in time for great weather, I hope.

Yeah my dealer advertising a 14 and another local dealer as well. So you're in good company still finding new ones around.

Picked up my new 2014 on Saturday. It was 35 degrees, but I was so happy I didn't feel the cold. It is funny that I can feel some subtle differences, but nothing I won't get used to quickly. Mainly I need to adjust the clutch and brake handles, that and the brakes seem to be a little weaker. I am guessing that may be because it hasn't been broken in yet.

Congrats RLS

So, I am enjoying my new 2014 CB1100. It has a few idiosyncrasies that make it feel a little different than my other CB, but just very subtle stuff. I have about 450 miles on this new one and I am getting 38.5 miles per gallon. Does this seem like pretty poor gas mileage? I think I was getting much better on my other bike.

Seems a little low to me.
If you accelerate quickly and are winding out the gears, that will lower your mileage significantly.
I usually average 45-52 mpg but mine has 1800 miles on it and I drive conservatively.
There are some great backroads from Memphis towards Jackson and on up towards Brownsville I used to ride when I lived just east of you in Germantown.
Hope you re enjoying your new bike.

Honda Canada is the exact opposite. Only the 2018 CB1100 RS is shown on their web site. Although a dealer may have a 2017 CB1100 EX in their showroom.
