Well I just learned something new, was not aware OldF7Guy was not with is anymore, this is an eerie thread. I was never allowed to ride as a child because my folks refused to let me own a bike (I rode friends bikes instead), apparently my father's cousin was decapitated going through a fence at speed. So I started riding for real much later in life, and I've been ate up with it since. I've only laid a bike down on my very first solo ride as an adult, a DR650 that got out from under me when turning onto a gravel road. I've had a few close calls with deer and birds, but so far God has kept me safe. I do ride everyday it isn't freezing or raining out. |
