RE: 2018 Motorcycling Resolutions - RockHop_imp - 01-28-2018 Variations on the theme ... Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. <snip> -- Dylan Thomas RE: 2018 Motorcycling Resolutions - emptysea - 01-28-2018 This is a thread about riding goals, Not a space for pasted prose. There are places here for quoted rhyme, In context of the subject line. Verse from dead poets are welcome, and yet within moto-resolutions made or met, lest the topic of our conversation, we forget. --Matt Coyne RE: 2018 Motorcycling Resolutions - the Ferret - 01-28-2018

RE: 2018 Motorcycling Resolutions - emptysea - 01-29-2018 I got a little lucky. I won a digital camera through my work and was able to trade it for the XP120 at a little camera shop near me. That cut my cost by about 50%. Waterproof was the key for me, but ease of use and ability to take high quality pictures from a moving vehicle were important, too. Ferret and the guy at the camera shop both said that this camera would serve my purposes well. One thing that I wasn't looking for, but is a nice feature is that you charge the battery while it is in the camera via a USB cable. This means that I only need to carry the cable on trips, not a charging pod, and I don't have to remember to re-insert the battery after charging.
