The navy stationed blimps there for anti submarine work during WWII. There used to be two hangers. One remains and houses an air museum that's well worth seeing if your into WWII aircraft.

Sadly, all of the WWII aircraft moved to another museum last year. They've got about 20 aircraft left now.
