RE: went with the 2-bros - The Spaceman_imp - 09-19-2013 If you want to make noise eat sauerkraut and wieners. RE: went with the 2-bros - CBville_imp - 09-19-2013 LOL. And if I wanted a sewing machine I would have bought a Singer! RE: went with the 2-bros - CBville_imp - 09-19-2013 Bit the bullet and ordered the 2-bros in Titanium. It'll be here in a few days. I was tired of contemplating and decided to take the chance with it. Worse case I'll sell it for a loss. Wasn't exactly feeling the looks of it originally but it's grown on me and looks good depending on the direction of the bike. It sounds great from the videos and reviews on it so we'll see! RE: went with the 2-bros - rboe - 09-19-2013 Singer makes motorcycles? (more than a couple V twin folks think our bikes run like sewing machines; a trait I don't really consider bad, I get to keep my fillings longer that way). RE: went with the 2-bros - GUNFTR_imp - 10-07-2013 one more comment on the Staintune... almost every time I was listening to it for the past 2 weeks, I had on my new Bell RS-1 helmet which apparently is a lot better at soundproofing than my 10 yr old Shoei. The other day when I was showing the bike to a friend and neither of us had on helmets, the Staintune put out a very decent tone. And yet, as others have pointed out, once at about 70 mph, the output is barely enough to overcome wind noise unless you are in rapid acceleration. [/i]I find it to be just about perfect as I had grown tired of the loud loud pipes from HardKrome on my old 750 and 1100. So I love the Staintune, I only wish its cost were more in line with the 2 Bros or Yoshimura (and I still have yet to see a video of the Yosh slip-on). Fast approaching 500 miles on the ODO which is more than it sounds with the recent Oregon damp weather. RE: went with the 2-bros - The Spaceman_imp - 10-07-2013 There's a great deal on a complete 2Bros kit (in beautiful matching aluminum finish) in the For Sale section. Hurry! Act Now! |
