RE: CB1100 forum miles - emptysea - 09-24-2020 Thanks. A great riding year indeed. Here’s one more stat: 24.8% of my mileage to date was spent riding to, from, or at the CB1100 Rally and with such a wonderful group of people. RE: CB1100 forum miles - peterbaron - 09-24-2020 The Ferret and ES are impossible to beat this year!!
RE: CB1100 forum miles - emptysea - 09-24-2020 I’d love if everyone was able to ride this wonderful motorcycle for more miles than I have ridden on it. RE: CB1100 forum miles - the Ferret - 09-24-2020 I didn't set a goal this year but in my head my goal is always 300 days ridden and 20,000 mi. Started out great, only missed 4 days in January due to ice and snow then rode every day in Feb, March, April, May and June up until a small gout attack in mid July which cost me 2 days and then a re-occurance of gout due to a medicine adjustment cost me 2 more days in August. At the rally, on Thursday my right knee started bothering me. Got home on Saturday limping pretty bad. Was in a lot of pain and could barely walk Sunday and by Monday morning was on crutches unable to lift my right leg off the ground or put any weight on it. Called my ortho doc Monday morning and by Tuesday afternoon I was getting injections in BOTH knees. The injections worked their miracles, and I started riding again on Wednesday so the knee issue cost me 3 more days. So I have missed 11 days so far this year, and ridden 257. If all goes well I should beat my record days ridden in a year of 338 days in 2017, by a healthy margin. Just over 15,000 miles so far this year and have the Men's Fall Trip coming up soon to North Carolina so should add close to 2,000 miles on that trip. That will leave me nearly 3 months to get the final 3,000 miles to reach my non goal lol. Of course it helps being retired. The last 24 years I worked I only averaged 10,700 miles a year. RE: CB1100 forum miles - Inhouse Bob - 09-25-2020 A man has got to have a goal. Stay healthy and keep on keeping on! RE: CB1100 forum miles - emptysea - 09-25-2020 Typo, Cormanus. Goal is 13,000 bonus goal is 15,000 RE: CB1100 forum miles - Cormanus - 09-25-2020 Fixed. RE: CB1100 forum miles - the Ferret - 10-02-2020 I added my October miles and the total mileage didn't change..in other words it's not adding to the total any more for me? Total should be 16,379 CB1100 forum miles - IndianRider_imp - 10-02-2020 Great stuff folks ... keep it going. I used to do 10-15k a year before the baby and happy to get 5k now between all the bikes. Safe riding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
