At 26 i think I might be on the younger side of the spectrum. But this is my fourth CB starting with a '75 CB400F when I was 16.

Good for you! I think some of the younger crowd have realized they don't need a 200+ hp bike to have fun. Some might say the CB' s design appeals more to the "more mature" crowd but I personally think it's one of the most beautiful bikes ever produced, ever. But what do I know, I'm just a 36 year old dude with a Jeff Spicoli avatar....

23 here. Had this bike for a few months and I have to say I think they marketed it to "mature" riders rather than young/old. The bike is so smooth and has that classic motorcycle look. Riding position, unlike sports bikes, is pretty comfortable. Has plenty of power for every day riding. I've never understand these people who ride crotch rockets around in town. You can't even get out of 2nd gear. Just seems like a waste to me. I love this bike and hope they bring out some newer models to the U.S. In the future.

I just can't see the lure of other style bikes. Sure rockets have face melting speed. Which is cool, and they are super impractical( which is the whole fun of owning a bike in my opinion) But I just can't put up with all the plastic and ugliness. On the other side of the spectrum, I don't get spending piles of money on obnoxious pipes, shinny bits and t-shirts. The cb is just simple, classic and understated.

Good point. I just changed my wording above from "older crowd" to "more mature." No one on this forum seem old at all. I really like the crowd on this forum.

However the [url=http://world.honda.com/CB1100/engineer-talk/]engineers were young. Interesting how challenging getting this bike right was for the engineers.
