I have these. However, I have only logged about 1000 miles on the bike since the install. It is probably good to point out that Yoshimura had two different sets of black headers available and that the set that rusted was the "hand bent" ones which, probably coincidentally, do not seem to be available any longer (at least the last time I checked a few weeks ago).
@ CIP...could you point me to more information about the fender extender please?

That's correct. Stainless steel will not rust. In the 1960's all auto makers used mild steel for exhaust pipes. It was easy to bend and form into long complex shapes. BUT every time a car is shut down the rapid temperature drop causes condensation to form like it does on the outside of your ice tea glass. Those steel pipes were constantly wet inside even in dry weather and they rusted through. Replacing exhaust pipes was common back then. Stainless steel is a bi**h to bend into complex shapes without special equipment. This is why "hand bent" exhaust systems are still often made out of mild (rustable) steel. Avoid them if you want a durable system. Today, all auto makers use only stainless steel in exhaust systems and they never rust and still work great after hundreds of thousands of miles. The stock exhaust on the CB11 is stainless steel. Cheers.

I believe there are 2 types of Yoshimura systems for the CB.
The expensive one, which is stainless steel and ceramic coated.
The less expensive one, which is steel and painted.
When I was researching which set to get Eric, I recall the description for the less expensive one saying it would require the occasional repaint.
