RE: Altrnative to grip replacement. - ScottWally_imp - 08-06-2015 I used Original Grip Buddies on my 2000 ST1100 - they make a world of difference on my hands. I just ordered a set for the CB a few minutes ago after a hundred mile ride and can't wait for them to arrive. I also use an Alaskan Sheepskin seat cover that was used on my ST1100. 'Comfort food' is the right description for these products RE: Altrnative to grip replacement. - DJS_imp - 08-06-2015 i bought a pair of NOJ grip wraps at the iron pony. i needed them for comfort for the trip home. stock grips were just too thin and were hurting all my fingers. the thicker grips helped tremendously. RE: Altrnative to grip replacement. - rboe - 08-08-2015 I don't like threads like this. Just ordered mine. ![]() The timing is good, I added Bike Master heated grips for the Griso and they are better than the stock grips (and thicker) which makes the CB grips feel like skinny broom handles. Very keen on trying them out now. RE: Altrnative to grip replacement. - TINK_imp - 08-08-2015 Not really a fan of add on grips. My favorite grips are the BMW Sport Grips. Just ask any of the many Iron Butt riders that use them. For years (before I discover the BMW Sport Grip) I install Flanders Jackhammer grips. Japanese OEM grips have always been too small for my hands thus causing hand cramps. |
