RE: Leather luggage for CB - nhawk7504_imp - 11-18-2014 Those brown bags in the UK look hideous as does the seat. That's like those french guys who come over here as tourists wearing those flood pants. With the proper brackets on the side so the bags cover the shock, a good would look ok. Must have had one too many pints over there in the UK. Krikey! RE: Leather luggage for CB - the_undecider_imp - 11-18-2014 I like the brown saddle and bags, Just not on a white bike. Would look good on black or red. RE: Leather luggage for CB - WK57ABF_imp - 11-21-2014 (11-18-2014, 07:20 AM)nhawk7504_imp Wrote: Those brown bags in the UK look hideous as does the seat. John RE: Leather luggage for CB - metallyguitarded_imp - 11-21-2014 Not surprisingly, taste varies greatly. I think the brown seat on the white CB looks fantastic. Very classic looking. I don't care for the angle the rider has his/her bag at but that's a different story. And, personally, if I went with the brown saddle on the white bike, I'd probably go with a darker, richer brown. Still, I think that one looks sweet. RE: Leather luggage for CB - ClassicVW_imp - 11-21-2014 I think the white CB and the tan seat and luggage is a bit feminine looking. RE: Leather luggage for CB - Cormanus - 11-21-2014 RE: Leather luggage for CB - the_undecider_imp - 11-27-2014 I received my Degner leather saddlebag with the turn signal cutout and am pretty happy with how it looks. It was a little smaller than my cardboard mock up and the from side slants at a greater angle than the CB's shock, but it gives a streamlined appearance. I comes with two leather straps to mount to the top of the bag and has two rings on the lower back side to lash the bag to the saddlebag support. I used just one of the straps by utilizing one of the bungee pegs on the grab handle. It does block the grab handle, so I have to grab the other side or the footer bracket to hoist it on the center stand. Also, the lashing straps on the back are a few inches below the bottom of the saddlebag support bracket, so I will need to play with that to fine tune my tie down since I want to figure out a relatively easy way to remove and install the bag. The quality of the bag is very nice. Given that it wasn't made to fit on this bike, I am happy with the fit. Now, to get my K&H saddle with matching white stitching.
