RE: Battery tender - GoldOxide_imp - 01-29-2020 For clarification obleo, you are correct: AT (CRF1000 / CRF1100). Thx. RE: Battery tender - Lord Popgun - 01-29-2020 Here is a press release for GO's LI battery and Honda. Has a picture and everything: https://www.eliiypower.co.jp/english/vc-files/pdf/pdf_eng/20180308_Release.pdf RE: Battery tender - GoldOxide_imp - 01-29-2020 Excellent find popgun. RE: Battery tender - max - 01-29-2020 Thanks for putting that info out there guys, in addition to that i would point to the fact that honda does not skimp or takes shortcuts with it's choice of batteries, the yuasa agm battery is more expensive than other choices and i have a feeling that the same criteria are valid for the new lithium type. It is telling that it took many years for the Honda team to start incorporating them, i think that follows from the standpoint that they want to have the customer ride something that can be relied on rather than follow a trendy model. Sooner or later we arrive at a point at which the lion technology is both proven safe, reliable and makes sense in comparison to lead acid. There are also other circumstances like a hot climate that already favour the new tech. RE: Battery tender - Obleo - 01-29-2020 WOW , big WOW $587.00 for the replacement of that battery.
