The same goes for the price of the OEM handwarmers vs. others. it's just due diligence. In the name of due diligence....Check out the cycle gear hand guards, they list for $40 and almost always are on sale for $20, having said that you will see they have garish colored stickers on them, the good news is those peel off in seconds using your finger nails....then they are all black. Next check an ATV supply website for generic Hippo Hands....usually they are around $20 to $25....You won't believe how warm they will keep your hands..( you may have to adjust the opening to slide it over your handlebars to get a proper fit ) I have been using this combination for over 40yrs and have several pairs, they work great. RE: hand guards and heated grips - colbrt_imp - 07-22-2019 I have the factory heated grips on my CTX700 and like them a lot... I know folks love the oxfords, and they work great, but I just can’t get past their controller box. Just looks so tacked on to me personally. RE: hand guards and heated grips - peterbaron - 09-12-2019 Whoever has the National Cycle hand deflectors....I need to know its actual (not on curvy side) dimensions: L & H, in inches or cm, no difference, please http://www.nationalcycle.com/catalog/product/view/id/30/category/5391/

Do you need to cut it? RE: hand guards and heated grips - The A-man - 10-20-2020 PB, straight dimensions are 6" tall and 9.75" long. Measured from drivers side. RE: hand guards and heated grips - peterbaron - 10-20-2020 Ok, thanks, kind of late but is always appreciated RE: hand guards and heated grips - 17-CB-002 - 10-22-2020 (08-01-2018, 11:52 PM)misterprofessionality_imp Wrote: I'm planning on getting a set of hand guards and heated grips installed some time before the end of October, and I wanted to a little insight from those of you that have been using them for a while: Will the handguard from an AfricaTwin fit? GO since you had both bikes, will it fit? Last week during the bike ride, I saw the handguard on the AfricaTwin and closely looked at it - it seemed that it can fit the CB. Apparently, the AT OEM hand guards suck, that is, they are fragile. This would be apparent on the first nap, err, um, ... drop of the bike. That is all I really know, and sizing would not even be an after thought. I think there are likely better third party protection options for the artistic CB1100 than AT hand guards.
