I rode a Spyder the other day and, like Rick, found the cornering feeling very strange, like I was going to high side in every turn. I think the feeling of riding a one wheel in front like the Harley is different than riding a two wheels in front like the Spyder, but it's been 45 years since I have ridden a Harley 3 wheeler ( 45 CI servi car)..can't rightly remember how it felt.

Apparently, drifting trikes are all the rage. Used to be just a giant big wheel you rode downhill. Now they have engines. Maybe a big set of pvc drums for the Harley might be fun:

Amazingly, no arrests have been made. I think the cops are in cahoots with them.

It actually looks like it would be a lot of fun to ride. Even though images of big wheels and tractors spring to mind whenever I see one, I admit, yours is really pretty. Congrats! Looking forward to the ride report!

Big GrinBig Grin Yes, shifting is very....agricultural(?) shall we say?

Ride safe my friend

Well as far as ride report, all I can say is that I left my house Sunday morning heading north to Wisconsin and at the point where my butt would be getting sore on the CB, I had a huge smile on my face and was looking for which road I'd be travelling next. I'm not slamming the CB, I still love that bike, it's just that it's a different riding experience all together. I seriously called my wife at 1:00 pm Sunday to ask her if there was anything I was needed for at the house. I wanted to keep on riding. Big GrinBig Grin Soon, I'll have a video posted on You tube that I'll link to. It's not perfect, (I was holding the camera in my mouth!) but it was a cool ride! Thumbs Up

But what interests me is they put two wheels on the front, with a leaning suspension. Even more interesting is that HD filed patents for what amounted to their own version on the Can Am Spyder about 12 years ago. But theirs was even better IMO, because it too had a fully articulated, leaning suspension. I wish they'd built it.

Interesting, Spaceman. I think I know the Gold Wing conversion you're talking about...

Nice vid. Looked like a great leisurely ride thru some beautiful landscape.

So tell the truth..how much have you spent on Motor Co clothes since getting your bike? Have you been thumbing thru the acc catalog looking at chrome? Lol

Yes Mickey, I've bought a jacket and got a free t-shirt from the dealer for making him richer! Wink The parts catalog is 2" thick and yes I've done my fair share of shopping from it too. (Tallboy seat, heated hand grips, passenger back rest and sissy bar, chrome front end, luggage rack, man, they saw me coming! Big Grin)

I only wish the choices were more plentiful at Honda too!

The Motor Company sets the standard for after purchase enticement to get into your wallet. Honda should only be so good.

I swear I. Go some place and a group of Harley riders and their wives pull in, and everything they are wearing says Harley Davidson on it. A group of Japanese bike riders pull in and ypu'd think their bikes were made by Joe Rocket or Tourmaster lol
