RE: Impressions - PowerDubs_imp - 09-10-2020 88220-MBZ-K01 and 88210-MBZ-K01 Stems about the same length. Glass is naturally a bit wider being rectangle. The stem base doesn't have the flare out part like the stock mirror so the rubber dust cover hole is a bit bigger. I was lucky and got them on a 20% off sale at Revzilla for $18.xx each Being able to pick up local at that price is a no brainer. RE: Impressions - LakeWylieJoe_imp - 09-11-2020 Welcome to the group Scotty. I used to live in Julian. There are some good roads leading out from there if you can escape tourist traffic. Hope you love the CB. RE: Impressions - Scotty_imp - 09-11-2020 Cool. I've been up here for almost 18 yrs. It's got to be one of the better places for a rider. All I have to do is head east and it's wide open. North and south is a tankful of twisties. (09-11-2020, 11:07 AM)LakeWylieJoe_imp Wrote: Welcome to the group Scotty. I used to live in Julian. Does everything good but nothing perfect. But it'll get it done. Open roads, twistes and in some cases trails and dirt. I love mine. RE: Impressions - Scotty_imp - 09-17-2020 Ok, me again. As I ride the CB1100 further I am even more pleased, tickled by my purchase. What a great bike. I love the air-cooled simplicity, with scooter-like ease of riding. It asks for the slightest excuse to go for a ride, like a well trained dog. I don't plan on letting this one go. RE: Impressions - j3gq_imp - 10-23-2020 Hi Scotty, Since you bought your bike almost exactly when mine was delivered ... Congrats ! I share all your feelings. I was hocked by her optics, true, and the fact that there may be no more air-cooled Hondas in Europe starting 2021 (and no Yamahas either). A 5 minutes test ride was all I could squeeze in, and I had little idea what I was really buying or how I would manage. She doesn't really do anything well ? I don't think so. It seems like a quote from a review I have seen. I think ... she feels like no other. Assuming no accidents, this will be my last bike until I have to stop going on 2 wheels.
