Lots of folks on Urals (ok, 3-4 folks but for Urals that's a lot!) put cast off Sportster mufflers on their bikes, fit well and are better quality chrome so look better too. Usually free at Harley shops.
Looked at a XR1200 this week locally, searching g for the right bike to add a sidecar to. Good candidate.
