RE: Bonneville T120 first test - MCN - the Ferret - 03-19-2016 Yea..funny Capo, real funny. Now in 20 posts, someone will yell at me to fix it. RE: Bonneville T120 first test - MCN - Pterodactyl_imp - 03-19-2016 I was going to give it 25 posts . Cheers RE: Bonneville T120 first test - MCN - the Ferret - 03-19-2016 Thanks buddy RE: Bonneville T120 first test - MCN - postoak_imp - 07-23-2017 I'm looking at the new T120. By all accounts the acceleration is better than the old Bonnies. (I'm a little too young to remember them.) If the engine runs a little smoother than the old ones then that is a good thing, IMO. I've heard the sound on youtube and it is great! BTW, the old CB750 wouldn't out perform the CB1100 from everything I've read. In fact, the old CB750 supposedly had pretty leaden steering and handling. RE: Bonneville T120 first test - MCN - pekingduck - 07-23-2017 Capo, didn't you mention they hoped they would build a "Speed Twin"? I had a 2009 Speed Twin. And a 2012 Tiger Cub 250 RE: Bonneville T120 first test - MCN - Wisedrum - 07-23-2017 (07-23-2017, 04:43 AM)postoak_imp Wrote: I'm looking at the new T120. Not at all, the C750 will be slightly faster due to the 1100's speed limiter. ![]() Wisedrum RE: Bonneville T120 first test - MCN - postoak_imp - 07-24-2017 (07-23-2017, 08:54 AM)Wisedrum_imp Wrote:(07-23-2017, 04:43 AM)postoak_imp Wrote: I'm looking at the new T120. I'm skeptical because they had 67 horsepower and the 750 Nighthawk supposedly had 75 horsepower and was considerably lighter, too but mine topped out at 110 or so (making the CB1100 just a hair faster and definitely quicker). |
