RE: I guess Harley is finally listening - use2b_imp - 07-30-2018 I like the looks of the Streetfighter but Harley will never be as reliable as Honda . I expect any new bikes to have " teething problems " RE: I guess Harley is finally listening - misterprofessionality - 07-30-2018 sorry to keep reviving this thread but more news keeps coming. The electric bike i was talking about. holy CRAP. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/content/dam/news/2018/07/30/TELEMMGLPICT000170627067_trans_NvBQzQNjv4BqKBOX4qcrdrUS45btAbp2kBTsyc8qhxkA3tySyuv6GT0.jpeg?imwidth=1240 https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/07/30/harley-davidson-unveils-new-range-electric-motorbikes-electric/ This is based entirely on opinion but, it certainly looks better than a Zero. RE: I guess Harley is finally listening - Roper_imp - 07-31-2018 The front of the ADV bike reminds me of the grill on a first gen Ford Bronco or International Scout. And both of those are cool. I think it looks weird at first because it's so different from what we expect a Harley or an ADV bike to look like. But the more I look at it, the more I like it. RE: I guess Harley is finally listening - Houtman_imp - 07-31-2018 Most of the new Harleys still look to bulky/heavy to me . Time will tell but personally I do not think that they will sell well enough. I would not like to solo pickup my son-in-law's Road King, but my 2002 1200 Sport Sportster was 3# lighter than my CB, both wet. |
