I reckon then that the old (and current) black and white police vehicles would stand out over there? Like, "Was ist das?"

As Django mentioned; German Police Cars have a different color scheme
and also the decals are ok to them. Our association http://www.pcooa-ev.de do open days with the police and fire departments here.
The bigger problem are the emergency lights.
