My Tiger 1200 had a bit of an odd shaped tank but there was a balancing pipe between the two halves to make sure it was evened out, maybe these do too?

The ol' 1986+ Yamaha Viragos (750/1000/1100 cc) had the teardrop tank drain into a smaller box-like tank below the saddle and the fuel pump took out of that. There was never a fuel access problem with that design.
