RE: CB1100 assymetrical cam timing, lift, and duration. - beardyweirdy@me.com_imp - 12-14-2015 If as LWJ says, the ignition timing is adjusted for cyl 1&2 due to the inlet valves opening 10 Deg late, will having the ECU flashed by ghul overwrite these settings? I'm just wondering out loud.... any ideas? I figure the ignition is retarded on 1&2 on the std set up. Actually I'm sure the ignition is retarded on all the cyl. Between some revs in the first 3 gears for emissions. Ghul Motors remove this when the ecu is flashed. I wonder if that overwrites the delay on 1&2. If it does then that could be bad... Thoughts? I'd be curious how much smoother the motor would be with stock, but symmetrical timing.
