When I changed the battery in my bike, I wondered how anyone would be able to get it out if that strap weren't there. Good on anyone who can extract the battery without one!

that brings up a question.. if someone wanted to jump start a C.B. could they connect to that trickle charging connector ? .. is that trickle charging cord heavy enough to pass enough juice to run the starter motor ? ..

Nope. You can certainly slow-charge your battery through that connection, but I would recommend against jump-starting with it. That's a lot of amperage. Battery jumper cables use heavy gauge wire for a reason!

I'm not planning on doing it, but noting the location of the battery, the thought must have crossed peoples minds.. putting the idea out there, then getting responses might keep people from going down that road.. sometimes when starting problems occur, people get desperate.. the wire might pop like a fuse.. by the way is there a fuse in line on that trickle charging pig tail.. what is the amp draw on the starter? just curious ..

the car battery is total down...

look at round minute 23

a powerbank its enough for a gas-engine (not diesel) (ampere-peak 400amp of the bank)

and at the minute 33 the blackbox its a condenserbox

Chuckk, the Battery Tender-branded pigtails on my bikes have an online fuse. I believe it's 5A.
