Not this tyre, but I’m pretty sure someone had a 150 on their rear wheel.

If not mistaken, Chuckk presently has Shinko 150/rear ???

I have Continentals 150 on the rear of my 2013 and 2014. Really like them.

Yep. i picked up my first pair of Avon spirits about 18 months ago i think. had them in PA.

you guys think by going w/ a wider 160 in the back, the the tire lasts longer ?

RE: New Tires Choices - Cormanus - 06-25-2021

jedd, I think originally people went with a 160 rear because it was near impossible to get a radial tyre in 140, particularly here in Australia where you couldn’t get either OEM option.

To me the wider rear just changes the handling profile in a very favorable way over the 140. I immediatley had more confidence in sweepers and corners at speed when i first went up to the 160 rear. I don't think it slows tire wear though.

I have to agree with Mr.P

Agreed with both posts, 27 & 28.
Just changed from 160 to 140 and already see less confidence when cornering...Sad

BFlint update: Just got back from 7400 mile trip on my new Avon Spirits. I thought they performed very well on the road, including the hot deserts and rainy environments. Seem to have a lot of life left in them. Thinking these are my new fav tire choice to replace my previous fav PR3's. Will post photos soon.
