The very day I bought my '14 (in 2019) the oem rear tire blew out at 70mph, stranding me far from home - and decent tire options. The best solution was an oversized cruiser tire from a Harley shop. When I looked for a new pair (I had already decided against Battlax) I laboured over the same decision. Reading a lot of opinions here and elsewhere almost seemed to complicate it. I really liked the way the bike looked with more rubber but in the end, decided that Honda engineers know better than I - and stuck with factory sizing.
You'll quickly find the recommended sizes will narrow your selection.
Also, be careful if shopping for online deals. Sometimes attractive prices can mean the tires were made several years ago.
(I went with Metz Z8 Interact, but don't have enough miles on them to speak on them.)
