Took him my titles, and spare keys from my trades, which he is picking up Friday morning, wrote him a check for the balance, so my 2014 CB 1100 Deluxe is paid in full Congratulations. Don't really think I'd ever give a dealer anything before I had the vehicle in my hands, but that's me (time value of money, etc.). It will give him a chance to sell them in the meantime. It's all good. If I didn't have a relationship with this dealer I wouldn't do that though. RE: Ok..done deal! - Hittheroad_imp - 02-11-2014 Congratulations The ferret! I also went to my dealer today to get a deal done on the '14 Deluxe, but he was out of town. Instead I bought a jacket, gloves, and a tail bag! I do plan on keeping the '13 for my son to ride though. RE: Ok..done deal! - Headbanger02_imp - 02-11-2014 This just in.....I seen on the internet where Honda is having tariff issues with the USA and it will be around September before they get anymore bikes into the country...............Just messing with you ...... Congratulations, can't wait for the pictures and ride report.....

I'm very for you. I'm looking forward to new pics and ride reports too.
RE: Ok..done deal! - soggybottom_imp - 02-11-2014 Being the dealer is picking up your rides on Friday, I predict winter should end at the stroke of midnight Friday. Sun will be shining with 65 deg by noon each day until March 31, then April showers. What a nightmare! RE: Ok..done deal! - Pauley - 02-11-2014 Holy cow, ferret. You pulled the trigger on that fast! Congratulations! If didn't love my 2013 so much, I'd be jealous

We await your observations and photos! Having a good personal relationship with a dealership is very helpful. Last week I traded my five year old CBR1000RR for a new Ninja 636 (daddy needs a new track bike!). I rode the CBR down to the dealership to drop it off even before the 636 had arrived to their store. The whole deal was done with the sales manager, through text messaging over the course of about one hour. When I dropped off the CBR, he's the one who drove me back home. Being the dealership carries Honda/Kawasaki/Suzuki, I have many new bike options. RE: Ok..done deal! - Tripod_imp - 02-11-2014 Congrats! FYI, I was looking to trade one of my CB1100's on a Royal Enfield Continental GT. They were willing to give me $6,000 as trade in value. KBB trade in value is $5,750. I didn't do the deal. Instead I bought a 1974 Vespa Rally 200 scooter. Don't ask... Doesn't sound like you got a bad deal. I agree, you and dealer both are happy, and that's what counts. The dealer needs to make money to stay in business...
RE: Ok..done deal! - the Ferret - 02-11-2014 Alright a new toy for Thumper! And CB4ME ... Yea.. Would have been much cheaper just to order the side covers from Takashi
