Anyone good with photoshop? - Guth_imp - 03-03-2014 Rest assured that our man ferret is on top of things. I've considered the little rubber lever end covers quite a few times now. However, I'm just not sure that I'm truly ready to go full on retro — so I keep putting off the purchase for another day. Obviously, it's a big commitment to be considered carefully before diving in with both feet (hands?, mechanics?)! Obviously, it's a big commitment to be considered carefully before diving in with both feet (hands?, mechanics?)! Yea, it's not something you want to jump into willy-nilly. It takes a commitment to Honda's history, and this motorcycle's ancestry. If you are not willing to make the commitment, and trust in your heart, nay, your very soul, that it is the right thing to do, maybe you should just ride around with naked balls, like so many that are unaware of the history and the significance of this marquee and this motorcycle. (Y'all know I'm just being funny right?) RE: Anyone good with photoshop? - rboe - 03-03-2014 I like my balls in the wind. It's natural.

Ferret, You're welcome, but keep in mind, I'm pulling these things out of the air only as an approximation of what they might really look like. For example, the gauge covers are modeled after a 2013, so the 14's might look a lot different. Now if I can just get a paying job doing this RE: Anyone good with photoshop? - The Spaceman_imp - 03-04-2014 What the heck are "fork ears?" I've been riding since 1973 and I've never heard the term. The triple tree perhaps? RE: Anyone good with photoshop? - the Ferret - 03-04-2014 OK...here are all four iterations (thanks to howlindaug) # 1 Stock...black bucket, black gauges, stock forks, stock fork ears [url=http://smg.photobucket.com/user/theferret111/media/image_zps21e4e972.jpg.html] ![]() #2 Red bucket, stock gauges, gaiters, red fork ears [url=http://smg.photobucket.com/user/theferret111/media/image_zps258753ef.jpg.html] ![]() #3 Red bucket, chrome gauges, gaiters, stock fork ears [url=http://smg.photobucket.com/user/theferret111/media/image_zpsbe885d18.jpg.html] ![]() #4 Red Bucket, black gauges, gaiters, stock fork ears [url=http://smg.photobucket.com/user/theferret111/media/image_zps4eb2dacb.jpg.html] ![]() so...which one do you think looks best? |
