RE: RayBo - enzo_imp - 03-29-2014 Usually you get the bike first....or maybe by the time you decide on what to change on the bike you don't have yet, you'll be looking at a 15 model. You can get anything you want it only takes....CASH....DOLLARS...MONEY.....YEN works well......just ask the JAPS. http://japan.webike.net/ http://www.tomcatdistribution.com.au/ http://www.samurider.com/?p=13252/#itemImage These are just a few......shop till you drop friend........... RE: RayBo - RayBo_imp - 03-31-2014 If you go to hondagrom.net you will see, as one example, that they have parts and mfg of parts in one spot...a vendor corner to make finding parts easy. Just was frustrated when I could not find what I was looking for, seems to me a spot for all parts and accy would make things easier. Didn't meant to offend anyone. I am literate and a biz prof, just seems very difficult to find parts etc...thx ... RE: RayBo - Scoobynut_imp - 03-31-2014 RayBo, those vendor's sections on forums are almost always paid for by the vendor themselves. They exist more to make the vendors money than they do to make searching for parts easy. The Grom has huge aftermarket support for a new model, but the CB1100 doesn't. This website has only one sponsoring vendor I'm aware of, but I believe some of the links supplied in this thread should get you well on your way. RE: RayBo - Tortuga_imp - 03-31-2014 What I love about this forum, other than the great guys and gals that frequent it (I assume there are some female members) is the layout. It's pleasing to the eye. Easy to navigate, and no awful bloody ads!! I hate these dreadful sponsored sites where you go to reply and end up with a dating website thing pop up, normally just as someone walks up behind you lol! Keep it clean and lean. No flab and fussiness.
RE: RayBo - enzo_imp - 03-31-2014 Think of the COLOUR that goes the fastest......ah LOL RE: RayBo - RayBo_imp - 03-31-2014 Yea..I get it...BUT.... Has anyone accepted my challenge above ? To find what I'm looking for in minutes? ..No , not yet...all I'm sayin should be a fast way to see parts from a vendor list, not all over the pages etc..? If there is a pipe for CB1100 it should be listed as a vendor or product for easy identification. Never mind ..all good..enjoy ...I just think it would be easier then the way it is here or going back to google, ....that's all ... What was the color comment? Huh? RE: RayBo - enzo_imp - 03-31-2014 http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2475 just havin a go at The Turtle. RayBo - Elipten_imp - 03-31-2014 Well I am going to put my two cents in here. The forum is growing fast. For those that go way back maybe they can remember all the posts on a topic but for new users the searching may not get the results they want. I would suggest some sub areas for common accessories topics to make things easier to find. For example: Seats Suspension Wind screens Exhaust Engine performance You get the idea Not sure there have been enough posts for any specific vendor but by topic would be handy. I'm about to research a suspension upgrade and it would be nice to have it all in one place. And just to start more maybe a header entry like the VIn thread with a summary of seat suppliers or exhaust suppliers just to speed the process. Of course it would never be complete but at least it would be a fast start for a person looking. I'm not retired and can't spend days and nights searching for information on a topic. I want to get to a choice fast. Just saying Would that help RayBo That is what another site I've seen has Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk RE: RayBo - enzo_imp - 03-31-2014 Hey Elipten I think your two cents is worth a million dollars, at least you didn't trash the forum before making a suggestion. RayBo - Elipten_imp - 03-31-2014 The forum is great, I love it. I read it before work and after work. I am in Peru now for two weeks of work and this and the k bike forum keep me from getting bored not having my bike or ride or wrench. The BMW is in a rebuild phase, and the CB is my fun bike to ride. Now if I can just find a GB500. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
