I know I am much more old-fashioned than warranted by my age Wink but riding is (still much more fun without phones and apps, and all the rest. At least when it comes to shorter distances, and regions where the roads are relatively empty. So I bring the phone, and do my best to leave it off in my chest pocket.
@Tom, no I don't. But you do agree that the weather forecast-ability that comes with a baro is very limited.
@emptyC, did you mean to let your last sentence end in "if we get too wet", or "if we get two wet", or "get to the vet" ?
Sorry folks, shallow humor on a winter day.

Wife and I have 4 grown kids living in every US time zone. She keeps track of the national weather zealously, and I do too, whether I want to or not, so I am married to my weather app. Plus, I find the weather app on my Spectrum phone pretty accurate.

The thing about weather applications is as the weather changes, so does the forecast. Hence, even if the forecast starts to drift, ultimately it will be correct by way of incremental updates.
