At the time of writing US$1 will buy you AU$1.31437.

...just curious about how long any other CB owners had to wait for delivery from Australia?...

I'm at 24 days now since Staintune received payment and considered my order "fulfilled".

Canada is somewhat bureaucratic when it comes to clearing customs, so maybe it will just be another few days. What mail or courier service was used in your case for the final leg of the delivery?...and please don't tell me that the "brown-shirted crooks" were involved Wink

My experience was unusual since I placed my order right before they shutdown for the holidays per their usual practice.

Once they all got back to work they packed up my unit very well and it made its way from Australia to Los Angeles for customs clearance then half way back to Australia to get to me in Hawaii.

I believe it came via the post office so you may want to check how they route mail from Australia to Canada. It may go to some inconvenient spot before it makes its way to you.

Thanks! Hopefully it will be transferred to Canada Post as they have convenient local depots for after-hour pickup. I will then need to pay Canadian Taxes and a modest Brokerage Fee...but thankfully, not the criminal fees UPS would charge for the same service.

Seems like mine showed up in a ridiculously short amount of time.
I did, however, have to wait several weeks (before I placed my order) for them to re-run our CB1100 application, since they were out of stock when I first inquired about info from them.
Surely do love mine, though!

Mine is being shipped tomorrow from the pirate. Heck of an entertaining guy.

I'll post when I get it on.

Jerry offered to bring a trunk load of Saintunes to last years rally but nobody showed any interest. He would have been a terrific guy to break bread with I am sure.

Lots of folks don't like to make purchases like that at Rallies - Imho... While the ST is stupid easy and fast to install, it could mean that those who might want one, would have to strap it on their bikes for the ride home...

Myself personally, I like to make changes like exhaust at home, so I have time to adjust/setup locally before hand...

RE: Staintune slip-on pipe - Gumby 1100_imp - 05-08-2016

I asked Staintune to track my delayed package and they just advised me that their web-based order system had a glitch...

The reason for the 30+ day delay is that some other CB owner was sent 2 Staintunes, one of them being mine! You wouldn't happen to be on this forum, would you? Wink

Staintune is now expediting a new one to me directly from Australia along with some "goodies" to make up for the delay and change in exchange rate ($50 difference between now and when I ordered, and not in my favor).

...hopefully there are no further complications and that the Staintune is worth the ordeal!
