RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Cormanus - 12-10-2016 That's probably right. For parts, just look up the 2013 CB1100AAC [url=http://www.servicehonda.com/parts.html]here. RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Lord Popgun - 12-11-2016 Cormanus, is that a site outside of the US? The US sites show the same part numbers for the front brakes. I don't think getting parts is going to be a problem for him. RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Cormanus - 12-11-2016 Not sure popgun. I suspect it's US based as the parts lookup references the US model numbers of bikes. RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Lord Popgun - 12-11-2016 Ah. I had never seen that site before and since the bike was thought to be maybe from the UK, I though you might have posted a non-us site. RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Cormanus - 12-11-2016 I found the site ages ago when a couple of members were having a discussion about whether they had duplicate VINs. As you can see from the search function it lists the year and model number and gives a VIN range as well. I'm pretty sure they're the US VINs. I keep trying to find similar sites in other countries. RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Lord Popgun - 12-11-2016 OK, its in Hammond, Indiana. Its at the bottom of the home page. I added them to my bookmarks too. RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Cormanus - 12-13-2016 Bump. I'm still interested to hear from a UK or European member what digits 4-8 are on your CB1100. In other words, what comes after JH2SC65 .... and what is the model of your bike? Thanks RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Old Bob_imp - 12-16-2016 (12-13-2016, 02:47 PM)Cormanus_imp Wrote: Bump. Just come across this thread and thought it's about time I contributed something to the forum. Not too sure exactly what information you are after for a UK bike, but the model of my all-black (silver engine) is given as CB 1100 A-D and the VIN begins with JH2SC65B3DK...... Bob RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - Cormanus - 12-17-2016 Excellent. Good on you, Bob. That's exactly what I wanted. It tells me that Honda uses a different number/letter in the 8th position of U.K. Models to that used in the US. It tells me that, if use2b's bike was imported, it got a new VIN. I wonder what the EX VIN identifier is in the U.K.? Answered my own question: it's SC65C. Looks to me like the SCSC65B and SC65C designator were used Europe wide. That's it VIN tragics. Back to sleep. RE: 2013 CB 1100AD = Silver engine - flynrider - 12-17-2016 (12-17-2016, 05:30 AM)Cormanus_imp Wrote: Excellent. Good on you, Bob. That's exactly what I wanted. That's what I would have expected. Since EU member countries use a common standard, its no surprise that Honda would make a common model for all of them. Thanks, Old Bob! You've made some numbers geeks very happy. |
