Congrats on the new bike , really looks great. I was like you when I was younger - felt I just had to try and ride
them all - in the late 80s early 90s had 8 in the garage all riders.

The XSR900, in racing yellow, is on my radar as well. However, I have no intention of discarding my beloved CB which I've put so much time and work into. Nothing wrong with more than one horse in the stable.
I would cafe or street-fighter that Yammy. It's just begging for it. Start by ripping off the hideous rear fender.

Congrats uscgmac! I got to see this exact bike in person today and it is quite a beauty! I was ready to start thinking about adding it to the stable or **gasp** trading the CB for it but once I sat on it I found that I'm too short - I'm on my tippy toes and the seat is pretty harsh when you're forced to do that too. In any case, enjoy your new whip - it's pretty rad!

Thanks C-breezy. Yes it is a tall bike, I wonder who they were making it for. I'm 6 ft with a 34 inseam and I can just flat foot the bike and I'm practically standing up straight on it. They do make lowering links. The bike is a blast to ride. It's a rocket ship.

Yeah, once I sat on it I knew I had no chance LOL. Such a shame as the bike is gorgeous and I wouldn't mind owning a rocket ship

Congrats USCGMAC! I looked at the FZ-09 before drifting to the CB. Same engine and very similar to the XSR from what I understand. I found the bike at little too squirrely for my present experience and ability. (I will have had my license for a year on May 10.) The engine and the power was beautiful, but it was just a bit too much bike for me. I am finding the CB almost as good, but it keeps it's front wheel down and just feels smoother and more manageable. I'm sure with the extra power and lighter weight You'd leave our CB's behind on the twisties...Enjoy!
