Mine was doing the same thing to me. I then got my stock seat reshaped for $100 by a little shop in Pittsburgh. He only had it for a day or so, worked out well.

I had my Corbin built to the "Chip Beck" spec. My Corbin took "several months (2k miles)" to get used to! Corbin vendor said that break-in period should only be a couple of short rides. That worried/frustrated me at the time, but now I "feel" that the seat is PERFECT. I road 5k+ miles from San Diego to Detroit last Sept/Oct without any additional padding (AirHawk, etc). The Corbin gave me no butt or back ache! In retrospect, I think what bugged me during the first months is that the seat is narrower than what was on my CB750, so it just felt hard and odd fitting. FYI, I'm 6ft, 2151b, 60ish.

Well I must report that after 1600 miles, Long Island to Virginia's Blue Ridge mountains and back, the Corbin seat was perfect. The only problems I had were in my neck due to the handle bar reach. My prior bike was a Road King which was a completely different seating position.
I just ordered a pair of Rox Rizors and see if the OEM cables will work. If not I will order customized cables. The Rox Rizors are great, I had them on my Vstrom.
Thank God summer is finally here!!!!

I too have the Corbin and like it. I added Rox Risers and had to get new brake lines, but it all made the ride much more comfortable and less stressful on my neck. Good luck!
