RE: Getting my CB as a birthday present! - the Ferret - 10-03-2024 the chrome cups on the back of the speedo and tach RE: Getting my CB as a birthday present! - MagnaRider - 10-03-2024 Lol thanks Ferret. I guessed thats what it was but had to ask. There will plenty of things in the new CB world I have to learn. Like those darn RLETs! RE: Getting my CB as a birthday present! - Cormanus - 10-03-2024 MagnaRider, if your bike has previously been owned by a current or former Forum member who chose to participate in our online registry, you should find it listed [url=https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HIcu1VqrkE_EjkZz6v9y2V-9ka2tpZMUyCcpJGWrAF8/edit?usp=sharing]here. Look for the last four (4) numbers of the bike's VIN. If it has been listed and you want it updated, or, if it hasn't been listed and you'd like it included, let me know. RE: Getting my CB as a birthday present! - MagnaRider - 10-07-2024 Well, long a** weekend but got my 2014 CB1100, my second bike! Drove it 5 hours home Friday from seller, was a very long ride but felt very comfortable on it by the time I was home. Definity feels like 30 years of refinement/upgrades compared to driving my 84 Magna. Was sad to see the bike was dropped, but ended up getting money off for it. Absolutely love it, hopefully winter stays away a little longer so I can ride as much as possible till then! RE: Getting my CB as a birthday present! - pdedse - 10-07-2024 Congrats on getting your bike...looking good. What was the damage from the drop by PO? RE: Getting my CB as a birthday present! - MagnaRider - 10-07-2024 Damage was all on left side. Clutch handle ground down on the RLET, highway peg and passenger peg got some good grinding on them and the chrome cover for the gauges too. I haven't looked for parts yet but all easy fixes if I can find the parts this winter. Rest of bike is spotless |
