When people see you on one it frames their whole perception of you. Every acquaintence in my life knows me as the guy who rides a motorcycle everywhere. People i encounter as part of work, when i show up to a jobsite on my CB, all basically identify me by that one feature, whatever other defining features i might have at the time. not the guy with glasses, not the guy with the curly mustache, not the guy with the sparkly shoes, no, i'm the motorcycle guy. Wait a minute.... you have sparkly shoes?

BASK IN IT: RE: "Is that a 250?" - the Ferret - 04-23-2018 That made me laugh out loud while wife and I are watching the movie Lincoln. By all accounts a pretty solemn movie. You should have seen the look my wife gave me. RE: "Is that a 250?" - jdinaz_imp - 04-23-2018 Many years ago I had a 75 Corvette, nothing special, but I was always surprised at the number of people that would ask "What kind of car is that?" I always answered "It's a Pontiac" Enjoy your "250" and the other 3 too....LOL RE: "Is that a 250?" - Bheezy27403_imp - 04-23-2018 Well I'll be darned...he has sparkly shoes. RE: "Is that a 250?" - dbarkdoll_imp - 04-23-2018 The other day I got "Is that an 883?" I said no, its an 1100. He goes, "Is it a Harley?" Nope. Its a Honda. Went on my way. Lol. Just struck me as odd that he knew what an 883 was but couldn't tell that this obviously was not a Harley. It takes all kinds I tell ya.
