RE: Hands & Feet - the Ferret - 07-30-2015 Stylish you will be MG RE: Hands & Feet - 4 Paws_imp - 07-30-2015 Been using the Lee Parks gloves for several years, love them. My go to gloves. Do get a lot of "sun fade" on the exterior surface so I routinely treat them with some oil or wax. If I ever wear them out will buy another pair. Surprised myself by spending that much for a pair of gloves and am now a convert. Boots, been using a pair of army combat boots - old style - for a very long time. Work great, fit well. Agree with securing laces well when riding. RE: Hands & Feet - ClassicVW_imp - 07-31-2015 There's a comment waiting re: those laces, but I won't go there.... ![]() Boots look good but are they heavy? I kinder, gentler ClassicVW? Haha. Who would have thunk it? Although they look quite substantial, the boots aren't heavy at all. Of course, that's me just lifting them with my hands. They feel lighter than my Icons. I'll get to feel them on the bike in just a bit and I'll see how they feel on the pegs and while operating the brake and shifter. RE: Hands & Feet - emptysea - 08-04-2015 Speaking of lighting....are those laces red or purple? And I suggest trimming them down for the reasons given above. And I suggest trimming them down for the reasons given above. They are red. Purple would be a bit much, even for me. I may replace them with shorter laces of the same color or see how I do with wrapping them once around top then tying them. Then again, I may just live dangerously and let them dangle... RE: Hands & Feet - emptysea - 08-04-2015 It is dangerous to just let things dangle RE: Hands & Feet - ClassicVW_imp - 08-04-2015 (08-04-2015, 06:59 AM)EmptySea_imp Wrote: It is dangerous to just let things dangle Depends on the angle of the dangle. |
