RE: Corbin seat for sale - rboe - 04-05-2019 I just sold my Tenni Green Griso. Bought it when it looked like Honda was NOT going to import the CB1100. Naturally Honda had them States side within 6 months. ![]() Thought I'd sell the Griso once I got the CB but they were so different the Griso held on for many more years. Alas; it was not that good of a fit (literally) so I finally moved her on. Now I have two CB's. What a silly accident! When I first saw the Racer I was very attracted to it. But it's just too small for my lanky frame. Too bad, it has a very high grin factor. RE: Corbin seat for sale - LongRanger_imp - 04-05-2019 My '11 V7C was a few years older than Frulk's V7R but fundamentally the same bike with worse suspension, upright ergos, and a plastic tank. Huge grin factor indeed. I decided to part ways after suffering through negligent dealer care and service, with few worthwhile alternatives. The DLX replaced it.

V7 still looked good in that image. Corbin seat, test rides, Guzzis and stuff - Houtman_imp - 04-05-2019 That is a great picture ! When I was down @ the multi brand dealer that handled Moto Guzzi looking at the MG V7R they had a used one on the lot. I took it for a ride and came back and asked the salesman if they had a new one. He said he THINKs they do. I said "I'll take it if you have one". He was somewhat caught off guard and blurted out "YOU WILL???". Hard to sell a 50HP air cooled bike that's sitting next to Ducati's and BMW's and costs almost what they do. Anyway, they had one new one in a crate they put together for me a couple of days later and while the tech was bringing it back to the dealership he crashed it entering their parking lot. I had to wait another 6 weeks before they had one available to be shipped to the dealer. Wasn't too happy about that. Love your V7. Wish more people in Minnesota taught there daughters to ride, then maybe I'd actually consider dating instead of spending all my money and time on my CB1100 and vintage bikes
RE: Corbin seat, test rides, Guzzis and stuff - the Ferret - 04-06-2019 LOl about 10 years ago my son was at a party. A small group of people there were discussing motorcycles, one of them a beautiful girl who seemed to know more about motorcycles than most of the guys. My son thought "I'm going to marry her". He found out who brought her to the party and called him to see if they were serious or if it was just a date. It was the latter, so my son called her and asked her out. Long story short, they are married, they have 3 kids and 2 motorcycles (one of which she bought him as a wedding present), a quad and a mini bike. Their oldest son, who is now 6, has been riding a Yamaha 50 for 2 years, and is about to move up and give the 50 to his younger brother. Funny how things work out. BTW both of her parents ride and her father is a regular on our Fall Men's Motorcycle Trips. really worked out well all the way around Some of the family arriving for the wedding ![]() My son and his bride arriving at their wedding reception
