Curlyjoe, very sorry to hear about your wife, but at the time, any motorcycle would have come in second place on the priority list. It's nice to read that you're ready to direct attention to your CB1100, and as those have said, cleaning out the fuel system will be the best bet to getting it running again, after you replace the battery of course. I'm currenty working through one of our work bikes that must have sat for a lengthy time. I've been running heavy doses of Techron fuel system cleaner through it, and it's running smoother with every dose. If you can drain the fuel out and hopefully get it to run without pulling the injectors, that might be a way to go if it's not running or idling smoothly.
