Kawasaki to go all electric by 2035 - Printable Version

With today's copper prices building the infrastructure to charge batteries will be very expensive . Perhaps cars charged by the sun will be a better bet if they can build roofs on cars with that possibility.

With current technology, to meaningfully charge a civilian cage directly by the sun is impractical (probably weeks with very good sun exposure). It would, however, keep secondary systems topped-up.

Ha. I didn't think about that... as it is in California, we have rolling blackouts during the summer because the grid can't handle that many air conditioners and appliances running, and Teslas charging at once. They'll have to fix that before they can work on the added charging capacity for my 2035 Electrosaki motorcycle.

And, when the time comes, hopefully most of the commercial buildings around me will still be vacant. Currently, some of the electric car drivers around here have figured out how to tap into the mains for the vacant offices to charge up.
