Man, that scenery!!!
Sure beats our flat, dry neck of the woods!

If you're interested in doing a SS1000 within the state of Colorado, with no freeway riding, let me know. I'm the Rallymaster for the Colorado Classic 1000 and have a library of excellent, highly scenic 1000/24 routes that we've featured on past rallies.

awesome. I'll let you know. More likely, I'd do a BB1500 to Junction (I have friends there) and then maybe take some of the roads you have on file on some sort of meandering route eastward. This plan is in its infancy and wouldn't be able to happen until 2018 (I think).

Pretty cool that you're the Rallymaster. Do you know a guy named Ed Otto, by chance?

I can't wait....got to go this summer while I can ;-)

I'd be happy to go again next year if I'm able.

This would only leave riding up (or down as someone suggested....something about having the ocean always in an unobstructed view on your right) the west coast to my bucket list ;-)

I've not met Ed but I certainly know who he is, primarily through his 1995 IBR finish on a Honda Helix. I've met Mike Kneebone several times (he rode in our 2004 event), and several other IBR finishers have ridden our more recent events, including the #7 finisher of the 2015 IBR who lives nearby. All good folks.
