We eat what we're not supposed to. We cuss, belch, fart and leave clothes strewn about the hotel room, and we don't watch girlie shows on tv at night lol. We've been to W Va, the U.P. of Michigan, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Deals Gap North Carolina and northern Ga, se Ohio and northern Kentucky. This year we decided to make a return trip to West Virginia/ nw Va. The roads in sw W Va and nw Va, are just awesome to ride. Unmatched natural beauty combined with limitless curves, and very little traffic, make this an ideal place to ride motorcycles. This year an extra bonus was the near perfect weather. A few sprinkles one evening that didnt even require rain gear, temps in the upper 40s to mid 70 s everyday. Just gorgeous weather. Lets look at some of the 200 pics I took during the week.Ferret, I like your windshield and tank bag....what brands, models are they, where did you get them. Any noticeable deflection etc from such a tall fork mounted windshield? RE: Mens fall ride 2013 - Cormanus - 07-01-2014 In the Antipodes, and in the UK I think, we call 'Fall' 'Autumn'. So "Men's Fall Ride" does not sound good to us—neither for rider nor bike!
RE: Mens fall ride 2013 - the Ferret - 07-01-2014 Wow this is an old thread, soon we are coming up on the Mens "Autumn" Ride ( per Cormanus) 2014 whichwill be to the Berea, Kentucky area and the Dan'l Boone National Forest, Red River Gorge, Mammoth Cave area Anyhow offroad, the windshield is a National Cycle Street Shield EX, and the tank bag is a Tourmaster Select series tank bag No deflection was noted with the shield, it performed perfectly, but there is quite a bit of buffeting and noise associated with it. That was on my 2013 CB. Haven't tried mounting it on my 2014 yet, and Im not sure its going to fit on the DLX. |
