Bleeding the rear brake is really easy on the non-abs brake. But you will have to remove the bolt from the bracket that holds the reservoir so you can move it from under the cross bracket above it. Otherwise you can't get the cap off. It won't fall over, but don't spill brake fluid on ANYTHING.

Have had mine 2014 for 2 weeks. Rear brake pedal is not spongy, but feels solid. Stopping power is "so-so", then again I am use to brakes on a GoldWing. So I'm not sure if it's not working properly or if it just a tad weak. However..the front brakes will throw you off the bike!! LoL

No complaints on brakes.. I use mostly front... Rear on tight down hill turns just turned 6k this weekend..11 months old.
