My Michelin PR3 front tire has about 15K miles now and is starting to cup a bit. The rear is still good as it was replaced sooner because of a puncture. Could not find another PR3 so I'm replacing with this PR4 from Revzilla, another 120 BTW.

I'm in full agreement with Redmist. I have no desire to ever put a 160 on rear or a 120 on front. I also LOVE the feel of the Pirelli Sport Demon bias ply tires. I would go back to them, but I just really want to put the 150/70 in the rear first to see if it will noticeably lower my rpm's at highway speed. (70mph) probably going to get the Avon Road Riders.

not "much" no, but mathematically, should make some. 2.3% taller. 768 revs per mile vs 785. any math genius on here can work that out? if it will go 65 at 3k rpm instead of 62 i'll be surprised but happy. I will eventually go with less teeth on rear sprocket. but not till after I see difference with tire.
the revs per mile is .978 improvement, so maybe ?

With the different aspect ratios of the PR3's and OE tires there is no noticeable difference in rpm or speedometer readings as there is no practical difference in tire diameter between the Michelins and stock tires. Huge improvement in tire mileage; stock front tire was showing major wear after 3K miles and rear was already flat centered. My current rear PR3, 160 looks almost new at just under 10K miles.

I am not sure how new this model is (seems newish), but I got a pair of Bridgestone Battlax T31 tires this week installed. Front matched stock at 110/80ZR18, and rear was a 160/60ZR18. Based on the PR3 feedback i did not expect a fitment issue, and there is none, plenty of clearance on my '14 standard.
We will see how they wear, but the stock dunlops were squaring off at 7500 miles and I had a tough time finding a PR3 set so I thought I would experiment with these.
They are very grippy, as all new tires should be, and I can tell that my dunlops were really squared off because these turn in much more willingly.
Not recommending them yet, but they do fit and i have about 100 happy miles on them so far.

Hondakid, I've run one set of BT31s, although I was able to get a 140/70R. I thought they were fine, although I think I prefer the PR3s and the Angel GTs I'm now running.

My experience with the Z8's was on a 125 hp gen 1 FZ-1 Yamaha. They handled good but only lasted about 5K miles. May last a little longer on an 88 hp bike though.

I had a rear tire on my 2014 , did not like it much (made in China ) went for a Continental after 842 miles.
