Hey, Papa-nice to "see" you, too. And, unfortunately, the operative word is HAD a gold Bonnie. Limited funds/garage space mean I'm a one bike guy. I do miss it-but I'm enjoying the CB. Smile

Hey randy b what's the name a vendor for that windscreen? Looks good on the black bike. Any opinions or thoughts on it?

Well, I know the feeling: I'm about to put mine up for sale, too. My problem is no time to ride, and it's just too nice a bike to sit around. Unfortunately, all the time I do get these days is always on the CB.

It's a Road Comet faring that I got from Samurider. Also my bike is actually a dark blue, not black and is the only one that color in North America AFAIK.

Which version? Is that the 3 color paint? Did you get the 40mm extension? How does the wind hit your body?

It is a limited edition color that was offered in Japan with the stripe and Australia without. Yes I got the taller windscreen and the wind hits me about shoulder level or a tad lower.

Similar boat here, wife looking for a backrest, but I don't really want a top box. The wife also likes holding on to a bar behind her.

I really like the solution [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=3268&pid=88182#pid88182]here that someone mentioned, but I don't have the skill or tools to make such a nice piece.

So, I've been toying with finding a similar backrest made for another bike. [url=http://www.jpcycles.com/product/223-130]This one is made for a Harley, and has a very similar mounting concept to what we could use on the CB11. I'm just not sure on width, or the holes lining up (could always re-drill the brackets I guess), but more importantly, if the position & angle are correct for a CB11.

Just an idea at this point, haven't called the supplier yet to see if they'll provide measurements.

How did you make your brackets/setup for the sissy bar?
