Sato Racing still doesn't have the frame sliders in stock so I did some research and found out that they are from japan:

I ordered some stuff from webike together with it and got free shipping.
Samurider can also order them for 14500 JPY (~$118) + shipping.

They came assembled and just need to mount to the frame using the frame existing bolts (no bolts supplied).

Since the weather here is not favoring any rides (10" of snow on Tuesday, currently 18F and icy roads everywhere) I won't be able to test them as pegs anytime soon. Forecast for the next 10 days is not showing anything above 36F (mostly under 30F), plus a couple of days of snow forecast for next week as well. 2015 is most definitely over for riding here...

I have the Moriwaki sliders and the ones you have look virtually identical.
here is some feedback for you.
I was on a long hot group ride last summer - we stopped after about 3 hours of continuous travel on the back roads of Nova Scotia at a local Tim Hortons coffee shop. It was about 36 degrees Celcius (very hot) The parking lot and coffee shop were built on a hill and i parked beside another heavier bike, and as I was getting off the bike the side peg sunk a tad into the hot pavement. this combined with being on a slight grade over she went and on top of me she landed.
It happened fast, i had a buddy standing right there (fortunately) who grabbed the bike and prevented her from crushing my foot. I quickly scam,pered from underneath and the 2 of us righted the bike.
Its was a rather shocking experience TBH esp because it happened so fast.
Bottom line- the sliders prevented any damage from occurring. not a scratch anywhere on the bike-including the slider.
the only damage was to my confidence - but I chock that up as a valuable learning experience in the end.
